- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is the term used to identify the many disorders that fall under the “umbrella” of the Spectrum. These include Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder/Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS), Aspergers Syndrome, and Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD).
